JUNG GRIFFIN is a Set Designer, Props Mistress and Artisan based in New York City.
Her recent Set Design credits include Code of Silence at The St. Clement’s Theatre, the world premiere Sleep in Safety at the Jenny Wiley Theatre in Pikeville, KY, the Dance Performance It’s a Game at New York Live Art, Marie Christine at 3LD Art & Technology Center, Hamyul / Hamlet at La Mama Theater, The Comfort of Numbers at Signature Theater, L’Chaim at Horace Mann Theater, the New Musical Dream Babies at The St. Clements Theater, Woyzeck at Ohio Theater, The Cherry Orchard, The Seagull, and The lady with The Dog at Connelly Theater, Created Equal at The 14th St. Theater, Nim and 49 Days of Death at Theatre for The New City, Uncle Vanya, The Things are Against Us, and Babs the Dodo at Yale, A Midsummer Night’s Dream and What The Butler Saw at the Gershwin Theater and the Kim Gun-Mo Live Concert at the Beacon Theater.
Jung Griffin spent many years serving as the Prop Mistress at Playwrights Horizons. During her tenure, three of the productions she worked on went on to Broadway: James Joyce’s The Dead by Richard Nelson, directed by Richard Nelson, I Am My Own Wife by Doug Wright, directed by Moises Kaufman, and Grey Gardens by Doug Wright, directed by Michael Greif. In addition, as a freelancer, she has been involved in a many related creative production projects including Interior Design for stores & restaurants, Event Design, and Live Concert Design.
She has received an AUDELCO Award Nomination of Best Set Design for DREAM BABIES in 2012. She received an MFA in Set Design from Yale School of Drama in 2011.
